There are over 85,000 children and young people living in Newham, one of the most diverse boroughs in London. Our aim is to create a vibrant and inclusive environment so that young people can become successful and active citizens contributing to their communities and we want to help young people find their place in the world. This means that we continually celebrate the diverse community that different individuals create in Newham and welcome young people from different walks of life to get in touch and join our programmes.
We work with young people aged 14 – 25 and employ young people as Young Facilitators who are the first point of contact with participants on our programmes and ensuring our work is youth led at every stage of our programmes and services.
Keeping in line with Aston Mansfield’s Aims & Aspirations we provide a warm, welcoming, and safe space for young people to get involved in our programmes to develop key transferable skills and make new friends. We deliver a blended approach of online and face to face activities so that we are accessible to as many young people as possible.
We are proud of our work in developing challenging young people to become young leaders through our programmes and we are currently working with London Youth to gain accreditation through their quality assurance framework.

Aston-Mansfield is proud that our work with young people has achieved the London Youth Bronze Quality Mark Award for 2022 to 2025.

The London Youth Quality Mark is London Youth’s flagship Quality Assurance programme that provides youth organisations with a badge of excellence that is recognised by local authorities and funders.
